West Midlands police have charged a fourth person with the murder of a teenager who was stabbed to death in Birmingham last year.

Sabir Maow, 18, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today (2 February) accused of murdering Yahya Sharif. He’s been remanded in custody.

Yahya, aged 18, died after being stabbed on Coventry Road, Small Heath just before 5.30pm on 10 December.

Maow who is from Plowden Road, Birmingham, is the fourth man to be charged with Yahya’s murder.

The 19-year-old from South Yardley in Birmingham is wanted in connection with Yahya’s death.
