The SMTOWN winter album ‘2021 Winter

To also include new songs of TVXQ! and GirlsGeneration-OH!GG

The SMTOWN winter album ‘2021 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU EXPRESS’, which returned after 10 years, heralded a rich comprehensive gift set.

‘2021 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU EXPRESS’ will be released on various music sites at 6 pm on December 27, and a total of 10 songs in various genres, including double title songs ‘Hope from KWANGYA’ and ‘Dreams Come True’, will be released. It is expected to receive a warm response.

First, ‘Hope from KWANGYA’, one of the double title songs, was released in 1998 by H.O.T. It is a remake of the original song, which has been loved as SMTOWN’s representative song since the release of the 3rd album, with a rich sound with a beautiful string melody. After directing, I added meaning to my juniors.

Another title song ‘Dreams Come True’ was released in 1998 by S.E.S. Aespa’s remake of the 2nd album’s title song is a pop dance song that combines the mysterious and dreamy sound of the original song with aespa’s unique energy and hip-hop vibe. In particular, BoA actively participated in the production of not only the musical part, but also the choreography and visuals to enhance the perfection, and it was pre-released through SM ‘STATION’ on the 20th.

In particular, this album also includes a new song released by TVXQ! and Girls’ Generation-OH!GG after a long time, and ‘DINNER’ sung by TVXQ! is a warm pop ballad depicting the moment of preparing dinner for a loved one at the end of a hard day and sitting together to share small happiness. As a song, the dramatic arrangement of the splendid string melody over the emotional piano performance stands out.

In addition, Girls’ Generation-OH!GG’s new song ‘Melody’ is a medium-tempo pop song with a retro jazz atmosphere and beautiful lyrics that remind you of beautiful and enchanting moments. The retro jazz atmosphere created by various acoustic instruments creates a warm atmosphere in the cold winter.

Meanwhile, ‘2021 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU EXPRESS’ will be released on the 27th as an album.
